Created fifty years ago, the modern youth service is being pulled apart by the sheer scale and speed of the government’s cuts in public spending. All signs suggest that the youth service will be the first public service to go, destroying years of professional expertise committed to partnership and volunteer working.
ChooseYouth have produced their Youth Manifesto and ask that all interested individuals and groups publicise this as widely as possible. This is available here as a pdf file and hard copies can be ordered from kerry.jenkins@unitetheunion.org
